We work together as a team for the long term. I work as a sounding board and guide to help navigate and solve your personal finance problems as life’s milestones come and go to free up your time for your work and family.

Nothing overly complicated or time consuming. No hidden costs. Nothing that can’t be discussed - Just simple, cost-effective solutions and unbiased advice designed to help you get financial concerns off your to-do list and free up your time.

WHAT IS FINANCIAL ADVICE? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Financial advice is about building a trusted ongoing relationship. Where a financial adviser supports their clients through life’s financial milestones. We charge two types of fees ‘initial’ and ‘ongoing’.

Initial Fees: Are to get clients setup with us and include financial reviews, cashflow modelling, research into existing accounts (existing pensions / investments), planning services, clear written advice reports and then implementation and investment where appropriate.

These fees are agreed at outset and are typically a combination of a flat fee and/or a % of your initial investment. To get started, I offer a FREE 1 hour long financial review meeting (please see the ‘How it works’ section below for details of what is included).


Ongoing fees can be between 0.5%-1% depending on circumstances. This fee covers continued financial planning, support, review meetings, investment account oversight, management and administration.


(Insurance based work is typically structured differently from investment-based work. Often, we are paid by way of commissions directly from providers).

HOW IT WORKS - YOUR FINANCIAL REVIEW

The first step is a 1 hour long FREE initial consultation and financial review.

This initial meeting conducted via a video call is an introduction, where we will get to know you, your circumstances and importantly your financial goals and aims. We will look at appropriate solutions to take your financial plan forward.

Once an appointment is confirmed, you will receive our ‘Fact Finding’ document. Designed to capture your current circumstances, details and financial aims ahead of the meeting.

We have your 1 hour financial review meeting, where we will;
    — Discuss your current circumstances
    — Discuss your financial aims
    — Go through a cashflow model and forecasting exercise (a visual exercise and tool designed to illustrate where you currently are with your finances and what it will take to get to where you want to be)

We will agree any necessary next actions to help realise you planning goals

ABOUT TOM

I began work in financial services in 2013 and I have been a qualified Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) since 2020. I have also built a successful property business that runs a portfolio alongside my adviser role. I’m married to my lovely wife Sarah, we have two French bulldogs that we spoil and we try to go away on as many nice holidays as we can fit in each year.

‘By day’, I work as an Independent Financial Adviser for the wealth management firm, Westminster Wealth Management LLP based in the city of London. (When you become a client of mine, you will also become a client of Westminster Wealth Management LLP).

‘By night’, I look after and manage my property portfolio and business within a limited company structure.

As a business owner AND professional adviser, I am in a unique position to really understand the questions and sometimes problems faced by those of us who work hard and sometimes worry about money and what we can (and should) be doing differently.

I have seen first hand, the benefit of appropriate financial planning for those who don’t have the time to focus on it themselves but who understand and appreciate the value in a trusted, guided ongoing service and relationship.
